Warner Bros. is the first Hollywood studio to sponsor Twitter’s photo stickers, part of its digital campaign for “Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them,” the “Harry Potter” spinoff film set to bow this fall.

In June, Twitter launched stickers, which lets users add emoji, props and other accessories to photos (a la Snapchat) that they share on the social service. Earlier this month it rolled out sponsored stickers, with Pepsi as the launch marketing partner.

With the “Fantastic Beasts” promo, Twitter users in the U.S., the U.K., France, Japan, Brazil and Spain will see four custom stickers in their libraries inspired by the movie’s main character, magizoologist Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne) — a scarf, wand, coat and suitcase, which can be added to a user’s photo.

The photos act as visual hashtag, meaning that fans who tap on a promoted Twitter sticker will be able to see photos from other users.

“Fantastic Beasts” — which marks J.K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut — is slated for worldwide release on Nov. 18, 2016. In the movie, it’s 1926 and Newt Scamander has arrived in New York for a brief stopover after a global tour to collect and document magical creatures. But his travel plans are disrupted by an American Muggle named Jacob (Dan Fogler), a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of his beasts. [Source]

The Harry Potter universe would never be complete without a cast as magical as the storylines are. The genius and talented Eddie Redmayne, who stunned the audience and critics alike in his roles in “Les Miserables,” “The Danish Girl,” and as Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything,” will be taking the lead role in this magical prequel to “Harry Potter.”

David Yates will be directing “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them” and its possible sequel, which is not yet named. He may be familiar to some since he had directed the last four “Harry Potter” films. “Fantastic Beasts” boasts of an all-star cast that fans did not imagine earlier that they would see in a film connected to “Harry Potter.”

These include Ezra Miller, Ron Perlman, Colin Farell, Jon Voigt and a whole lot more. It has also been reported that the movie “moves deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, where Newt and our other heroes have to decide on their allegiances.”

As for the role of Dumbledore, Michael Gambon has taken the role of the beloved wizard from Hogwarts whom fans have loved since “Harry Potter” was first released. The talented and legendary actor has already devised a perfect scheme as to how he can nail his monumental role in the Harry Potter spin-off, says a report in Cinema Blend.

While Gambon is considerably too old to play a young Dumbledore, he initially insisted that he could play Dumbledore’s father in a flashback. That would make perfect sense considering that Albus Dumbledore was one of the most endeared features of the entire “Harry Potter” franchise. With that and much more coming up, it appears that “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” is rigging up to be a real treat for everyone when it hits the big screen.

With a possible brand new take on Dumbledore, an award-winning and widely renowned all-star cast and an exciting setting, which is in 1926 in New York City, “Fantastic Beasts” is sure to enchant every viewer with its magical spells when it comes out on November 18, 2016. The Sequel will be out in November 2018, and the third one sometime in 2020. [Source]

The next big screen take on the Wizarding World created by JK Rowling, Warner Bros’ David Yates-directed Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, is due out on November 18 this year. The studio has now announced that the second film in the series about Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is in the works with a November 16, 2018 release date set. Rowling, who made her screenwriting debut on the upcoming first Fantastic Beasts, will pen the next film and Yates is also returning. Further reuniting are producers David Heyman, Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. Neil Blair, Rick Senat and Danny Cohen are exec producers.

Fantastic Beasts focuses on Redmayne’s preeminent “magizoologist” Newt Scamander, who stops in New York following his travels to find and document magical creatures. The second movie will move deeper into an increasingly dark time for the Wizarding World, where Newt and other heroes have to decide on their allegiances.

Harry Potter mania is currently at a fever pitch following glowing reviews out of London for the just-opened two-part stage play, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. The script of the play, which was published this weekend, has already seen unprecedented sales for a script book.

Fantastic Beasts was originally announced as a planned film series back in 2013 based on the Hogwarts textbook that appears on a reading list in the first Harry Potter tome, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. Scamander is the book’s fictitious author. The upcoming Fantastic Beasts is not a sequel or a prequel to the Potter adventures, but kicks off 70 years before Harry’s story starts. The series will incorporate magical creatures and characters from the Potter mythology.
